Copywriting: All you need to know.
Do you know what Copywriting is, what copywriter is and how much is earned for this profession?
Understand why Copywriting is so attractive for many content creators here on our blog!
The freelance copywriting career is often a pleasant job. Being able to exercise your craft from the comfort of your home, sleeping in the middle of the day, and organizing your schedules the way you prefer is something that fills everyone’s eyes.
However, it is not always easy to explain to some people what copywriting is.
Start contextualizing with the Big Bang Theory, then mention the book One Hundred Years of Solitude. If you still have the questioner’s attention — which already makes an effort worthwhile — then talk about the scenario of inbound marketing, content marketing, blogging, social media, etc.
If you’ve explored this medium, you’ve probably heard at least one of these three statements:
1. It’s a great way to make money working in the home office;
2. You can do well in the area with little financial investment;
3. It is not necessary to have a formal and specific level of schooling.
All these premises are, in fact, true.
Those who possess the technique and ability to be a copywriter have their space guaranteed and are generally the highest-paid copywriters.
Many people left formal jobs in different areas to continue exclusively as freelancers in content marketing.
That’s my story.
And the best thing is that there’s still plenty of room in that large expanding industry.
But, in the end, what is copywriting?
Copywriting is intimately linked to marketing, mainly digital. It is a practice that involves any writing, whether advertising, public relations or internet marketing — that being the one that matters most to us here.
Any material written within these niches can be called “copy” precisely because it is a copy that will be widely disseminated.
